Ylläs is one of the favorite regions in Lapland for outdoor activities & nature holiday both in summer & winter season. Enjoy hikes in the surrounding national parks and hills with snow shoes or hiking boots. Go cross-country or downhill skiing on the nearby fantastic tracks and slopes. Go biking on prepared tracks with or without snow. Enjoy the snowy winter landscape and northern lights or the midnight sun on the terrace. Watch reindeer passing by the cabin.

Our Story

We – a German couple – have regularly spent our holiday
for cross-country skiing in Ylläs for several years, until we decided to buy
our own cottage here in Äkäslompolo. We really love the region in every of the eight seasons. The surrounding untouched nature and the fresh air offers the best conditions for outdoor holiday and remote work. Since we own the cabin, we spent even more time here and are happy to rent the cabin to you during the time when we are
not here.
